The human keeps the judgment
Software should carry the busywork, never the relationship or the decision.
The process is broken for everyone in it. We're rebuilding it end to end.

A mortgage is the largest promise most people ever make. It should feel like the beginning of something. Instead it feels like a second job. Documents requested three times. Weeks of silence, then a scramble. A loan officer buried in paperwork instead of sitting with the person whose life is changing.
We have all been on some side of that: the borrower refreshing an inbox, the loan officer working past midnight, the partner who watched a client walk away. For too long, the industry has accepted that experience as the cost of getting a mortgage.
We think the work should disappear and the people should stay. Let the technology chase the paperwork and coordinate the process. Let people focus on the relationships, advice and judgment that matter.
That is the idea behind Elio: origination rebuilt end to end so technology carries the weight and the relationship carries the meaning.
Elio draws its name from Helios, the Greek personification of the sun. It reflects our belief that an industry built around decades-old processes is ready for a new day and a new way forward. The sun is also the center of its system, which is how we believe mortgages should work: with loan officers and borrowers at the center, and technology operating around them to make every step from origination to funding simpler, more predictable, and more connected.
Software should carry the busywork, never the relationship or the decision.
We explain the options, make costs clear, and speak up early when something changes.
